Adapting Deprez meter for 0..4 V voltage display.

Displaying any measured physical parameter on a Deprez meter.

The PIC16F1824 measures voltage between 0..4096 mV, which is proportional to the physical quantity to be displayed. Based on the AD value, the PIC controls a current generator that drives the Deprez meter. The user configures the measurements using PC software and creates a characteristic curve that maps the actual physical quantity to the appropriate Deprez meter pointer position. The PC sends the finished characteristic curve back to the PIC microcontroller, which stores it and operates according to the curve thereafter.
